Ok, hands up who couldn't keep their coins out of Super Sprint at the arcades ... well here's one just for you. Little Racers is a direct clone of this truely great game.
Little Racers is your top-down high paced racing game across several different race tracks.
The sounds are suitable although the music can be hit and miss. The graphics are good although the text can be a little small at times but nothing too bad.
The controls aren't too smooth either if I'm honest but in a way, that makes it more rewarding when you do nail a good lap. Some corners are very tight which involve you slowing right down ... this is something the game doesn't do very well. It seems the car's work best at full speed. Anything else involves you stopping, turning, inching forward, turning some more and then pulling away.
There's a little too much sliding and, once you're used to the game, turns into a luck more than skill game.
I wasn't left with the same excitement I had when starting the game but there are plenty of game modes, tracks and cars and this could be a good pick up and play game.
