Game Review: Angry Barry

Angry Barry is your classic platform side-scroller karate-style beat 'em up in which you play the part of Barry who tries to force his way into the Oval Office at the White House to take full control of the United States. The video below doesn't do that art work justice ... visually Angry Barry is a real pleasure to engage with and the sounds are subtle but effective. With the co-op option, you and a friend can fight through nine levels of endless fun. There's your combo's and such as you go but this game is all about smacking as many people you come across as possible. Side-scrolling platformer beat 'em ups can get repetitive but Angry Barry overcomes this by offering different objects (based upon the scene) that you can smack people down with. It's a real light hearted game but with some really good art work that has to impress. [more]
